Open Afternoon – Celebrating 10 Years

We would like to thank all our customers, colleagues and friends who attended our open afternoon at Weavers Court on December 6th, 2017.

It was a pleasure meeting everyone for a chat over a mulled wine and mince pie.

Thanks to Korec Ireland for their support on the day, supplying a new Trimble SX10 for us to play with.

Also on display was equipment from our own survey fleet, Trimble S6 total stations, Trimble R8 and R10 GPS and a Sensefly eBee fixed wing UAV.

A lot of interest was shown in our Bella – a 6m multibeam hydrographic survey launch which was on display in the car park for visitors to see, combined with raw Kongsberg Geoswathe survey data running on a desktop.

Our colleagues at Kaboom put their Inspire 1 multi rotor UAV through its paces for us. Hire can be arranged through Six West for survey and inspection in urban areas where special permission for flying is required.

Our minerals customers were keen to hear about recent planning applications for quarry deepening and extensions we’ve had approved and how changes in the planning process have been progressing.

Visitors all received promotional gifts and an information pack outlining our broad range of services.

It was a most enjoyable day. Thanks to everyone involved for making it such a great success.
